Jim files to run for Clay County School Board - District 2

On April 11, James Hughes filed the paperwork to begin his campaign for Clay County School Board - District 2.  This is a non-partisan race, which allows all Clay County registered voters to vote in the August 20 primary election. If the field of candidates remains at two, the winner will be elected. If the field grows to three or more  candidates, then the top two will run off in the November election, unless one candidate  receives 50% of the total votes cast, plus one vote.

Jim is excited to take on this challenge and plans to work hard to become the newly elected School Board member representing District 2.
